Description
: On our way to Delphi, we will pass by Thebes and Arachova and make a short stop at Livadeia, home of the Super League Greece team the Levadiakos.
Visit the Museum of Delphi and see famous statues such as the Charioteer of Delphi, one of the best preserved examples of classical bronze casts. Admire other artifacts such as the Sphinx of Naxos and the Statue of Antinoos and wonder at the magnificent Ancient Sanctuary of Apollo.
After lunch, we will stop at the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, one of the highest towns in Greece . The village is famous for its wine, cheese and attractive hand-woven carpets and quilts.
